Ya, of course there is definitely a big flaw with our search engines. As the website development techniques are changing, the algorithms need to redefine itself for accurate calculations.

MySpace is having luring features and it made its network so attractive to its users that page views have to increase. But we can’t stop the websites to make themselves better using new technologies such as Ajax. It definitely decreases the page views but it gives users faster access to the website. If we are decreasing ‘user wait time’ than indirectly we’re making them spend more time on the site and get more and more out of it, ultimately increasing the overall response.

Don’t think of only initial response. And very soon search engines calculations will change for the new scenario, so developers have to think about better product for its users instead of thinking about initial profit.
